What is happening?
- The Savior shall come and be a light to the Gentiles.
- He will not forget us because we are graven upon the palms of his hands.
- Israel shall be gathered in the last days.
How does this apply to my life?
- I love that this is again testifying of Christ. I know that it is compared to Isaiah 49, but I think it is great to have another testiment here in the Book of Mormon.
- The gathering of Israel is not far off...am I ready for it?
- I love how much I can feel the Savior's love here. I will discuss it more below.
Vs 15-16 "For can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, O house of Israel. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; they walls are continually before me."
Again, I love how much I can feel Jesus Christ's love for me as an individual. I have heard the saying that even if I was the only person alive, He would have still suffered for me. That is how much He loves me as an individual. He cannot forget ME because I am graven upon his hands. I think that is amazing. It is also inspiring to do good in the world so that Christ does not have to suffer more for my sins. I hate doing things that cause Him pain.
