What is happening?
- Lehi blesses all of his posterity again. He dies.
- Lamen and Lemuel get mad at Nephi, again. Big surprise.
- Neph talks about what a wretched man he is (yeah right!). He talks about putting off the natural man and trusting more in God.
How does this apply to my life?
- I need to trust in the Lord ALWAYS! Not just in times of trouble, but in times of goodness as well. He is always there for me so I need to always be trusting in Him.
- What would I want to leave with my posterity before I die?
- If Nephi feels like he needs help putting off the natural man, then I definately need to!!
Vs. 31 "Oh Lord, wilt though redeem my soul? Will thou deliver me out of the hands of mine enemies? Will though make me that I may shake at the appearance of sin?"
I think this is a wonderful scripture because it really is applicable to my life right now. I sometimes feel like I am so alone. I feel like there is no one there to answer me. But then remember that I can call on the Lord. He is always there fore me. He always has been there for me. I love that I am getting a closer relationship with Him and that He is helping me through my trials at this exact moment.
