What is happening?
- Nephites become bad. Lamanites become righteous. Yay!
- The pure in heart will get blessings from God.
- Jacob warns of the different kinds of sins.
How does this apply to my life?
- I relaly love verse 1. I am going to expound on it below.
Vs. 1 "But behold, I, Jacob, would speak unto you that are pure in heart. Look unto God with firmness of mind, and pray unto him with exceeding faith, and he will console you in your afflictions, and he will plead your cause, and send down justice upon those who seek your destruction."
This just makes me feel so happy. This makes me feel hopeful. I sometimes feel I am alone, but I know that I am not. This scripture shows that. It puts all of my beliefs into one verse. Especially recently when my honestly was being questioned, I prayed to Heavenly Father that He would help me. I think that this scripture really rang true in my own life. I love it.
