What is happening?
- The Lord shows his purposes to Israel
- They have been chosen.
- They are to go forth from Babylon
How does this apply to my life?
- I am going to be completely honest. This entire chapter confused me. I tried reading more into it, but I am still confused. I know it was put here for a reason, but maybe that reason isn't supposed to be know unto me yet. Maybe I am not ready to receive it.
Vs. 10 "For, behold, I have refined thee, I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction."
I think that this is verse is very interesting. It reminds me of the analogy that we are diamonds in the rough. We are constantanly being refined, but Heavenly Father knows our true potential.
