What is happening?
- The Jews will crucify the Messiah.
- They shall be scattered, but they will be restored when they believe in the Messiah.
- The Nephites believe in Christ.
How does this apply to my life?
- The Nephites have faith in someone that they never see, yet when the Jews have Christ right in front of them they mock him and even end of crucifying Him. This doesn't really make any sense. You think that it would be the other way around when it is eaiser to believe something right in front of you instead of something that is predicted will happen.
Vs. 8 "Wherefore, they are of worth unto the children of men and he that supposedth that they are not unto them will I speak particularly, and confine the words unto mine own people; for I know that they shall be of great worth unto them in the last days; for in that day shall they understand them; wherefore, for their good have I written them."
Again, I didn't understand like any of the words of Isaiah. I feel really bad about this, but I feel like as I continue to study them they will make more and more sense. I just need to have faith that I will get out of them what I need to get out of them.
