Day 90- Moroni 10

What is happening?

1. The records are sealed.
2. If we ask God, we can know if these things are true by the power of the Holy Ghost.
3.  Faith can bring miracles.

Vs. 23 "And Christ truly said unto our fathers: If ye have faith ye can do all things which are expedient unto me."

Day 90- Moroni 9

What is happening?

1.  Satan stirreth anger among the Lamanites.
2. They torture and murder each other.
3. God will spare the righteous.

Favorite Verse?
Vs. 36 "And may the grace of God the Father, whose throne is high in the heavens, and our Lord Jesus Christ, who sitteth on the right hand of his power, until all things shall become subject unto him, be, and abide with you forever. Amen."

Day 90- Moroni 8

What is happening?

1.  We should not baptize little children, for they cannot sin.
2. We need to become like little children.
3. Faith and repentance brings forth salvation.

Vs. 26 "And the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and becuase of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God."

Day 89- Moroni 7

What is happening?

1. Pray with real intent.
2. We can know good from evil.
3. By faith, miracles are brought to pass.

Vs. 19 "Wherefore, I beseech of you, brethern, that ye should search diligently in the light of Christ that ye may know good from evil; and if ye will lay hold upon every good thing, and condemn it not, ye certainly will be a child of Christ."

Day 89- Moroni 6

What is happening?

1.  People who have a broken heart and contrite spirit and repent of their sins are baptized.
2. Those who repent are forgiven.
3. Meetings are conducted by the spirit.

Vs.  4 "And after they had been received unto baptism, and were wrought upon and cleansed by the power of the Holy Ghost, they were numbered among the people of the church of Christ; and their names were taken, that they might be remembered and nourished by the good word of God, to keep them in the right way, to keep them continually watchful unto prayer, relying along upon the merits of Christ, who was the author and the finisher of their faith."

Day 88- Moroni 4-5

What is happening?

1. These are the sacrament prayers.
2. The bread represents the flesh  of Christ.
3. The water (wine) represents the blood of Christ

What is happening?

1. Elders ordain priests and teachers.

Vs. 3 "In the name of Jesus Christ I ordain you to be a priest (or if he be a teacher, I ordain you to be a teacher) to preach repentance and remission of sins through Jesus Christ, by the endurance of faith on his name to the end. Amen."

Day 88- Moroni 2

What is happening?

1. The Twelve Nephite disciples could give the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Vs. 3 "Now Christ spake these words unto them at the time of his first appearing; and the multitude heard it not, but the disciples heard it; and on as many as they laid their hands, fell the Holy Ghost."

Day 88- Moroni 1

What is happening?

1. Moroni writes for the Lamanites.
2. Every Nephite has been put to death that will not deny Christ.
3. Moroni will not deny the Christ

Vs. 3 "And I, Moroni, will not deny the Christ; wherefore, I wanter whithersoever I can for the safety of mine own life."

Day 88- Ether 15

What is happening?

1. Nearly 2 million are slain in battle.
2. The spirit of the Lord no longer is with the people.
3. The whole nation is destroyed. Only Coriantumr remains.

Day 88- Ether 14

What is happening?

1. A great curse is upon all the land because of the iniquity of the people.
2. Corantumr starts a war.
3. There is blood covering the land.

Day 87- Ether 13

What is happening?

1. New Jerusalem will be built by the seed of Joseph.
2. Ether is cast out.
3. War continues among the Jaredites.

Vs. 6 "And that a New Jerusalem should be built up upon this land, unto the remnant of the seed of Joseph, for which things there has been a type."

Day 87- Ether 12

What is happening?

1. Ether is a prophet of the Lord.
2. By faith, miracles happens.
3. We are given weaknesses to become humble.

Favorite Verse?
Vs. 27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

Day 86- Ether 11

What is happening?

1. The people are wicked.
2. Prophets cry repentance to them.
3. The people reject the prophets.

Day 86- Ether 10

What is happening?

1. Several kings take the thrown.
2. Some of these kings are righteous and other are wicked.
3. When people are righteous, they are blessed.

Favorite Verse?
Vs. 28 "'And never could be a people more blessed than were they, and more prospered by the hand of the Lord. And they were in a land that was choice above all lands, for the Lord had spoken it."

Day 86- Ether 9

What is happening?

1. Secret combinations continue and overthrow the kingdom of Omer. He is warned to depart out of the land. He and his family leave.
2. Akish seeks the life of Jared (the new king). Jared is murdered and Akish reigns in his stead.
3. Famine comes to the land. Finally, the people repent.

Favorite Verse?
Vs. 2 "Nevertheless, the Lord was merciful unto Omer, and also to his sons and to his daughters who did not seek his destruction."
God will always protect those that are righteous.
