What is happening?
- Nephi sees and understands the vision of the Tree of Life.
- Nephi sees Mary and the birth of the Savior.
- Nephi sees a vision of the life and ministry of the Savior.
How does this apply to my life?
- I really want to the knowledge that Nephi has. I don't expect to see a vision or anything, but I want that faith as if I had seen it. I am working on it, but I am not there yet.
- If I had this knowledge, what would I do with it?
- What would Lamen and Lemuel think of Nephi now?
Vs. 21-22 "And the angel said unto me: Behold the Lamb of God, yea, even the Son of the Eternal Father! Knowest thou the meaning of the tree which thy father saw? And I answered him saying: Yea, it is the love of God, whcih sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; which it is the most desirable above all things."
I just love this scripture. I love hearing about how Heavenly Father loved us so much that He sent His Son to save us all. TO see the love of God in my own life is an amazing thing. I am so grateful for His precence in my life. I pray that I may have it more often.
