What is happening?
- Jesus Christ will be crucified by the Jews.
- America will be a land of liberty and freedom.
- Those who come to God will receive salvation.
How does this apply to my life?
- Again, I love how Jesus Chris is involved. I love hearing about the atonement, even though it hurts me. I wand to understand it.
- I love hearing the history of America! I love knowing that I am in a free land. A land that I can practice my religion freely.
- I need to come to God. I need to trust Him more.
Vs. 20 "And now, my beloved brethern, seeing that our merciful God has given us so great knowledge concerning these things, let us remember him, and lay aside our sins, and not hang down our heads, for we are not cast off; nevertheless, we have been driven out of the land of our inheritance; but we have been led to a better land, for the Lord has made the sea our path, and we are upon an isle of the sea."
I love knowing that God is merciful. I would not be able to handle life if I didn't know this fact. I know that I can repent of my sins and I know I should do it more often than I do. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have.
