What is happening?
- Jarom writes the words according to the commandment of his father (Enos)
- The prophets teach about Christ.
- The Nephites prosper.
How does this apply to my life?
- Like I will discuss later, isn't the message always the same? It is always about Christ. I think I hear repetition hear...am I listening?
Vs. 11 "Wherefore, the prophets, and the priests, and the teachers, did labor diligently, exhorting with all long-suffering the peole to diligence; teaching the law of Moses, and the intent for which it was given; persuading them to look forward unto the Messiah, and believe in him to come as though he already was. And after this manner did they teach them."
I love this because is this not what the prophets are doing now? Are they not prophesying that Jesus Christ will come again and that we should have faith in Him even though we haven't seen Him? The message is a few hundred years apart, but it is still the same. It is always about Christ.
