What is happening?
- The Lamanites hate the righteous people and come up to battle against them.
- The Anti-Nephi-Lehies don't fight back. They would rather suffer death than defend themselves.
- This causes some of the Lamanites to be converted.
How does this apply to my life?
- Trust in the Lord. I know some people had to die here, but they were able to help others be converted through their deaths and I am sure they are saved.
Vs. 26 "And it came to pass that the people of God were joined that day by more than the number who had been slain; and those who had been slain were righteous people, therefore we have no reason to doubt but what they were saved."
I love this. I always say I am willing to die for God, but these people did. I want to know how I would have felt in that moment.
