What is happening?
- Mosiah makes a proclamation that there should be no persecution.
- Alma the younger and the sons of Mosiah seek to destroy the church. No way we are going to let that happen now...
- An angel appears to them and commands that they stop. Alma is struck dumb and when he comes to, he testifies of the goodness of God. They all go to declare the word.
How does this apply to my life?
- Nothing can get in the way of the church. Nothing is going to stop it from growing. It is true.
Vs. 36-37 "And thus they were instruments in the hands of God in bringing many to the knowledge of the truth, yea, to the knowledge of their Redeemer. And how blessed are they! For they did publish peace; they did publish good tidings of good; and they did declare unto the people that the Lord reigneth."
I love this! Someday I hope that I can be an instrument in God's hands. I trust in his timing. Until then, I will be an instrument in God's hand where he wants me!
