Day 34- Mosiah 26

What is happening?
  1. The next generation begins to fall away. They were too young to remember King Benjamin's words.
  2. Alma is chosen to judge them.
  3. Everyone who repents can be forgiven of their sins.
How does this apply to my life?
  1. Honestly, I think this is so ironic. Alma is chosen to judge these people that have fallen away and preaching false words. He could have easily put them into prison, but he didn't. He sought God for the answer. Little did he know that his decision now would effect his son later!
  2. I love knowing that I can be forgiven of my sins. Sometimes, I find it hard. Sometimes, I don't feel worthy of repentance. As I read these scriptures, I know that I am.
Favorite Verse? Why?
Vs. 22 "For behold, this is my church; whosoever is baptized shall be baptized unto repentance. And whosoever ye recieve shall believe in my name; and him will I freely forgive."
I love the word "freely". It is just amazing to me that it is that easy. Okay, so it is not completely easy. But I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are willing to forgive freely those who repent. This concept just makes me so happy and hopeful.
