What is happening?
- Amulek preaches to the people. He tells how the spirit told him about Alma before he came.
- Lawyers try to twist his words.
- Amulek gets angry.
- Zeezrom is one of the lawyers.
How does this apply to my life?
- One thing that this really teaches me is to always listen to the words of the spirit. If I ignore a prompting, I miss out on an opportunity to be blessed. Amulek listened the the prompting and all of his family was blessed.
- The righteous are the ones that spare the wicked. God will not smite the people if there is one righteous soul among them.
Vs. 10 "And again, I know the things whereof he hath testified are true; for behold I say unto you, that as the Lord liveth, even so has he sent his angel to make these things manifest unto me; and this he has done while this Alma hath dwelt at my house."
I love hearing Amulek's testimony. It really strengthens my own testimony to know that this man who's heart was hardened was brought to the knowledge of God.
