What is happening?
- Mosiah wants the kingdom to be ruled by judges instead of a king.
- Kings can lead to unrighteousness if they do not rule righteously.
- Alma is appointed the chief judge.
Vs. 38 "Thererfore they relinquished their desires for a king, and became exceedingly anxious that every man should have an equal chance throughout all the land; yea, and every man expressed a willingness to answer for his own sins."
This sounds a lot like America. America was established so that every man should have an equal chance- an equal voice. I just love knowing that this is the Promised Land of God.
