What is happening?
- Pride comes to the people. The Lord chastens them.
- God is all powerful.
- In the day of judgment, men will gain everlasting life or everlasting damnation.
How does this apply to my life?
- Pride is always the first evil to come. It leads to everything else. We need to watch ourselves so that we do not allow pride to enter our lives. That is how Satan gets his hold.
Vs. 1 "And thus we can behold how false, and also the unsteadiness of the hearts of the children of men; yea, we can see that the Lord in his great infinite goodness doth bless and prosper those who put their trust in him."
It is so easy to be blessed. We just have to put trust in our father and our brother. That is all they ask. Come on. I know that I am guilty of not always trusting them. It is something we all can improve on.
