What is happening?
- People reject all the words of Nephi. He returns again to the land of his nativity.
- The people are in a state of awful wickedness. Gadianton robbers have taken over.
- Nephi bows down to pray on top of the tower in the garden of Nephi.
- He calls the people to repent.
How does this apply to my life?
- As soon as we let a little pride in our hearts, it continues to grow until it has taken over every aspect of our lives. Even here it leaks into the government. We should not let it start.
Vs. 20 "O, how could you have forgotten your God in the very day that he has delivered you?"
I feel like sometimes this is me. I feel like sometimes I forget to thank Heavenly Father for all that he has given me. I need to be better at doing this.
