What is happening?
- Moroni forces the Lamanites to make a covenant of peace. The other option is to be destroyed.
- Zerahemnah refuses the offer. They continue to fight.
- Moroni's armies defeat the Lamanites.
Vs. 4 "Now ye see that this is the true faith of God; yea, ye see that God will support, and keep, and perserve us, so long as we are faithful unto him, and unto our faith, and our religion; and never will the Lord suffer that we shall be destroyed expect we should fall into transgression and deny our faith."
The Lord promises to protect us from everything, so long as we are faithful. Does there need to be any other reason to continue to be faithful?
